YOUNG LEADERS SCHOLARSHIPS

ACIF offers 6 Young Industry Leaders the opportunity to

• Win a full delegate registration to the conference, including one night’s accommodation, and
• Be a speaker in the Young Leader’s session of the conference on Friday 6th June.

Successful nominees for the scholarship will have demonstrated solid experience of the construction industry, and be recognised for their leadership qualities – in the private or public sectors, and in any discipline or calling. They will:

• have experienced the highs and lows of projects, as designers, constructors, suppliers or advisers – and survived to achieve personal and commercial success;
• have learnt from experience and be eager to share that experience;
• be interested in meeting with their peers from other parts of the industry, and
• be ready to discuss issues ranging from day to day commercial or technical matters, to high order strategic and industry issues.

ACIF invites nominations from people aged 35 years or less. You may nominate yourself or be nominated by your organisation. Nominations should be completed in the form of the attached form. Email completed nominations to peterbarda@bigpond.com. Nominations close on 30th April 2008.

All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of senior industry people, chaired by the Chairman of ACIF. Successful nominees will be notified by email by Friday 16th May 2008.
