- Historical data to the March quarter 2011 on engineering construction activity is contained in ABS Cat No. 8762.0 published by the ABS on 6 July 2011.
- Historical data to the month of July 2011 on residential and non-residential building approvals is contained in ABS Cat No. 8731.0 published on 30 August 2011.
- The short-term forecasts on this web-site are on a quarterly basis and extend from the June quarter 2011 until the March quarter 2013.
- The long-term forecasts on this web-site are on a financial year basis and extend from 2010/11 until 2019/20.
- These forecasts of residential building, non-residential building and engineering activity were prepared shortly after the release of the ABS publications referred to above.
ACIF Forecasts are produced in nominal terms, i.e. in the dollars of the day. Where we occasionally quote real values, we indicate the base year. Generally speaking, we assume inflation of between 2% and 3% per annum, and take in to account current period ABS price adjustment indices, in calculating real values.
